Operates 24/7 Adult Protective Services hotline to report adult abuse or neglect. Investigates reports of suspected neglect, abandonment, physical, sexual, mental, emotional, or financial abuse. Coordinates emergency response, crisis intervention, and protection from abuse, neglect, or exploitation.

Provides grants up to $60,000 to assist low-to moderate income households to complete critical home repairs, including:

• Roofing
• Windows & doors
• Heating & cooling
• Electrical
• Plumbing
• Lead Based Paint, mold and asbestos remediation
• Kitchens
• Bathrooms
• Flooring
• Foundation and structural repairs
• Wheelchair ramps
• Widening doorways
• Accessible kitchens and bathrooms

Also provides loans of up to $25,000 for repairs, accessibility improvements and other home improvements.

Offers transitional housing for Lake County families who are experiencing homelessness. Also provides case management services, including:

Offers developmental screenings for children under five years old. Provides information and referrals following the screening process.

Offers a 24-hour support line and counseling services for survivors of sexual violence. Services include crisis counseling, individual counseling, and group counseling.
