Provides outpatient mental health services to youth and their families. Treatment Services include: Trauma-informed therapy for individuals, families, and groups, Crisis intervention, Substance abuse counseling, Case management, Psychiatric/medication services. Service Programs include: Screening Assessment and Support Services (SASS): A 90-day crisis intervention program, psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management; and case management. Treatment lasts about 3 to 6 months; Mental Health Juvenile Justice Program (MHJJ): Serves youth ages 8 to 18 years old; AND have had contact with the juvenile justice system within the last 90 days; OR are at risk of juvenile justice involvement; An MHJJ liaison that works with children and their families for six months and connects them to treatment resources; Intensive Placement Stabilization (IPS): serves youth who are in DCFS Youth in Care; AND are at risk of losing their current foster home placements; OR have just transitioned between placements; The Family Support Program (FSP): Serves children under 18 who need more intensive community-based therapeutic services or residential treatment services.

Offers FREE Therapeutic Mentoring program for youth affected by opioid and other drug misuse in Lake County, IL. Youth are matched with professional mentors who meet with them for 2-3 hours per week for up to 12 months. Mentoring is provided one-on-one and in groups. The program seeks to assist with: Problem-solving Coping and self-advocacy skills Positive future orientation Progress on educational and career goals Connection to prosocial peers, family, and community Access to opportunity, structures and resources A decrease in mental/behavioral health problems Delinquent attitudes

Provides complete care to children from birth to age 18. Services include: Developmental assessments Hearing and dental screening Basic vision testing Immunizations Lead testing

Points of investigations and services include: Possible housing discrimination Community legal education Assisting clients to resolve fair housing disputes with housing providers Helping clients with disabilities obtain reasonable accommodations and modifications in housing

Oversees law enforcement services for the City of North Chicago. Provides 9-1-1 emergency services when there is an immediate threat to life or property. Investigates crimes and arrests crime suspects. Prevents the development of a serious crime.
