• LGBTQ+ and gender health services
• PrEP and nPEP medication
• Support groups
• Needle exchange
• Safe sex supplies
• Referrals for related medical and behavioral health services

Offers affordable rental housing for low-and moderate-income households throughout Lake County. Types of housing offered include: Apartments Condominium units Townhomes Single-family homes

Offers non-perishable food items, paper and personal care products for township residents in need.

• In-home or in-school therapy for eligible youth

Offers health literacy and educational workshops. Topics include cancer, cardiovascular disease, nutrition, osteoporosis, and sexually transmitted infections. Provides outpatient mental health services to youth and their families. Treatment Services include: Trauma-informed therapy for individuals, families, and groups, Crisis intervention, Substance abuse counseling, Case management, Psychiatric/medication services. Service Programs include: Screening Assessment and Support Services (SASS): A 90-day crisis intervention program, psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management; and case management. Treatment lasts about 3 to 6 months; Mental Health Juvenile Justice Program (MHJJ): Serves youth ages 8 to 18 years old; AND have had contact with the juvenile justice system within the last 90 days; OR are at risk of juvenile justice involvement; An MHJJ liaison that works with children and their families for six months and connects them to treatment resources; Intensive Placement Stabilization (IPS): serves youth who are in DCFS Youth in Care; AND are at risk of losing their current foster home placements; OR have just transitioned between placements; The Family Support Program (FSP): Serves children under 18 who need more intensive community-based therapeutic services or residential treatment services.

Offers support groups for LGBTQ+ individuals. Offers groups for adults, youth grades 6-8, and youth grades 9-12. Also offers weekly Saturday morning coffee socials for LGBTQ+ individuals of all ages and their allies.

Provides monthly financial aid for township residents in need. Helps pay towards rent, utilities, or medical expenses. Intended for individuals who meet one of the following criteria:

• Cannot work due to medical condition
• Experiencing income or job loss due to circumstances outside of their control. Must be actively seeking employment.
• Have applied for government assistance and are waiting for approval

Registers vehicles in Illinois and licenses their drivers. Other major Secretary of State functions include: Recording ownership (certificate of title) of registered vehicles Maintaining driving records (accidents and convictions) of licensed drivers. Issuing identification cards for individuals. Registering and recording ownership of vessels. Licensing and regulating driving and traffic violator schools and their instructors. Also provides a service email for residents who have a driver’s license suspension or revocation or any other loss of driving privileges.

Provides a 24/7 crisis hotline for veterans and their family and friends.

Offers after school program for Oakdale Elementary School students. Provides age-appropriate after school and summer activities for Lake County youth ages 5-18 years. Programming includes a snack, hot dinner, and homework help. Also offers the following:

• Health/athletic activities
• Outdoor activities
• Cultural arts
• Leadership development activities
• Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) activities
• Career exploration
• Character development

Offers free Thanksgiving meal for Lake County individuals experiencing homelessness. Provides one plate of hot food per person for dine-in service only.
