Offers conversational language class for adults who are learning to speak English. Classes take place in a group setting with other English language learners. Participants practice making doctor's appointments, placing emergency calls, small talk and more. Also offers one-on-one ESL tutoring.

• Offers door-to-door service for older adults to medical appointments or personal errands. Also provides weekly shopping trips to local stores.

Offers supportive housing for adults with persistent mental illness. Provides 24-hour crisis response, on-site case management, and budget management assistance. Operates four housing units with space for 45 residents. Note: Independence Center operates as a membership program. Membership requires that the individual has a persistent mental illness and Medicaid insurance to cover all fees. Members are encouraged to attend programs on a daily basis and contribute to the IC community.

• Abortion (medication abortion, procedural abortion, and follow-up exams)

• CHAMPVA (if uninsured)
• Monthly stipend
• Beneficiary travel

Matches youth with adult role models for one-on-one mentoring. Provides an opportunity for personal growth through mentorship and structured activities. Also provides caseworker to monitor the growth of each individual match. All adult mentors are screened and trained.
