Case Liaisons help manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Family Needs Assessments. Provides resources, referrals, and assistance to the family throughout the sponsor's career.

• Prescription medications, including controlled substances
• All over-the counter medications
• Medication samples

• Liquid medication in leak-proof containers
• Homeopathic remedies

Items not acceptable for deposit in the collection box are:

• Needles/sharps

Provides an online tool for consumers to report telephone scams and fraud. Also provides resources and information for scam recovery.

Offers a free day camp for Lake County youth each summer. Provides free breakfast and lunch, and one bag of nutritional snacks for the weekend.

Offers financial aid to help Township residents prevent loss of home, job, or utilities. Funds are available once every two years and provide help to meet basic needs, including:

• Work-related expense necessary to getting or keeping a job (for example, uniform or licensing fees)
• Cost of prescription medication

General Assistance Provides temporary financial support to help township residents pay overdue rent and utilities. Also covers the cost of car repairs if the individual is employed. Aid is provided short-term while resident finds employment or waits for disability decision. Offers after school program for Edith M Smith Middle School students. Provides age-appropriate after school and summer activities for Lake County youth ages 5-18 years. Programming includes a snack, hot dinner, and homework help. Also offers the following:

Offers a variety of programs for children and youth, include:

• Teaching new skills
• Homework help and assistance
• Promoting physical and emotional development

Programs offered before school, after school, and seasonal camps.

Offers virtual support group for new Moms. Also offers free childbirth and parenting classes.

Coordinates educational services for homeless students. Acts as a link between family, shelter, school system, and community resources.

Offers food assistance for Warren Township residents once per month. Provides two grocery bags of non-perishable items and frozen meats to registered participants.

Provides services to individuals with severe disabilities so they can remain independent in their homes. Offers the following program options for independence:

• Personal Assistant (PA): Provides assistance with household tasks, personal care and, with permission of a doctor, certain health care procedures. PAs are selected, employed, and supervised by individual customers.

• Homemaker Services: Personal care provided by trained and professionally supervised personnel for customers who are unable to direct the services of a PA. Instruction and assistance in household management and self-care are also available.

• Maintenance Home Health: Services provided through a treatment plan prescribed by a physician or other health care professional. Other services include nursing care and physical, occupational, and speech therapy.

• Electronic Home Response: Emergency response system offered by hospitals and community service organizations. This rented signaling device provides 24-hour emergency coverage, permitting the individual to alert trained professionals at hospitals, fire departments, or police departments.

• Home Delivered Meals: Provided to individuals who can feed themselves but are unable to prepare food.

• Adult Day Care: The direct care and supervision of customers in a community-based setting to promote their social, physical, and emotional well-being.

• Assistive Equipment: Devices or equipment either purchased or rented to increase an individual's independence and capability to perform household and personal care tasks at home.

• Environmental Modification: Modifications in the home that help compensate for loss of ability, strength, mobility or sensation; increase safety in the home, and decrease dependence on direct assistance from others.

• Respite Services: Temporary care for adults and children with disabilities aimed at relieving stress to families. Respite services may be provided for vacation, rest, errands, family crisis or emergency. Services may include personal assistant, homemaker or home health.

Also provides specialized services for people with HIV/AIDS and/or traumatic brain injuries (TBI). The Community Reintegration Program helps individuals with disabilities who live in nursing homes move into community with the supports they need to live as independently as possible.

Provides special education services for students in the Waukegan Community Unit School District.
