Dental Care Services: Provides primary dental care for children and adults. Services include: dental exams, cleaning, and referrals to Orthodontics.

Offers a weekly food pantry for Cuba Township residents in need. Offers non-perishable foods, paper products, cleaning supplies, and toiletries.

Provides pasteurized breastmilk to premature and ill babies. Offers support to moms who donate milk after loss.

Provides financial assistance for Township residents to alleviate a life-threatening circumstance or job-related expense. Individual must be experiencing a hardship due to an emergency, such as loss of income, reduction in work hours, or a medical illness.

Provides comprehensive services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Includes the following services for female survivors and their children:

• 24-hour hotline
• Crisis intervention
• Counseling and support groups
• Legal advocacy

*Services are offered in multiple languages with a focus on the Asian-American community.

Provides qualifying households with monetary relief for their energy bills. Clients may receive a one-time payment for utility bills. *Program is run by the Community Action Partnership for Nicor Gas.

Provides financial assistance for past due utility bills for eligible Lake County residents. NOTE: Assistance is available based on funding. Please call to see if funding is available.

Provides drug users a fast-track to addiction treatment services. Allows individuals to call or walk-in to a participating Lake County police department to request help. Individuals may surrender any drugs or paraphernalia without risk of criminal charges. A deputy will immediately coordinate phone screening with the Lake County Health Department. Based on the evaluation, individual will begin outpatient or inpatient treatment. Provides a police escort for any individuals who cannot transport themselves. NOTE: If you are unable to pay for treatment due to lack of insurance or financial resources, you will not be turned away from participation. Participant will be matched with an available treatment provider that accepts commercial insurance, Medicaid Plan, or who provides financial assistance.

Provides in-person crisis intervention for adults experiencing any kind of crisis. Provides the assistance of recovery support specialists within a safe environment. Also serves as a wellness center with the following support services: · Referrals for community resources · Shower facilities · Recreational activities · Healthy refreshments · Comfortable living room to rest or relax · Safety planning · Transportation assistance for referred services

Provides UMMA graduates with three weeks of job readiness training. Includes help with resumes, completing applications, and preparing for interviews.

Provides monthly financial assistance to income-eligible Township residents in need. Helps pay towards rent, utilities, and medical expenses. Provides temporary aide while individual seeks work or waits for disability benefits approval.

Provides assistance with food, utilities, rent, medical expenses, and other immediate needs. Meets the client in their home and conducts a needs assessment. Provides referrals for community resources to support long-term sufficiency. NOTE: Saint Vincent de Paul provides general assistance services throughout Lake County. Individuals who do not meet residency requirements for this location will be referred to their nearest site.
