Provides drug users a fast-track to addiction treatment services. Allows individuals to call or walk-in to Lake County Sheriff's Offices to request help. Individuals may surrender any drugs or paraphernalia without risk of criminal charges. A deputy will immediately coordinate phone screening with the Lake County Health Department. Based on the evaluation, individual will begin outpatient or inpatient treatment. Provides a police escort for any individuals who cannot transport themselves.

Administers applications for enrollment in and determine eligibility for the Medicare program. MEDICARE is a federal health insurance program consisting of two segments: Part A: Provides hospital insurance to help pay for inpatient hospital care and certain follow-up care upon departure.
