Offers food assistance for Warren Township residents once per month. Provides two grocery bags of non-perishable items and frozen meats to registered participants.

Treatment Services include: Trauma-informed therapy for individuals, families, and groups, Crisis intervention, Substance abuse counseling, Case management, Psychiatric/medication services. Treatment lasts about 3 to 6 months; Mental Health Juvenile Justice Program (MHJJ): Serves youth ages 8 to 18 years old; AND have had contact with the juvenile justice system within the last 90 days; OR are at risk of juvenile justice involvement; An MHJJ liaison that works with children and their families for six months and connects them to treatment resources; Intensive Placement Stabilization (IPS): serves youth who are in DCFS Youth in Care; AND are at risk of losing their current foster home placements; OR have just transitioned between placements; The Family Support Program (FSP): Serves children under 18 who need more intensive community-based therapeutic services or residential treatment services.

Provides financial assistance for Township residents to alleviate a life-threatening circumstance or job-related expense. Individual must be experiencing a hardship due to an emergency, such as loss of income, reduction in work hours, or a medical illness.

Provides formula, baby food, and diapers for clients once a month. Also accepts referrals from local churches and agencies for those in need of emergency clothing and baby materials.

Responsible for repairing and maintaining roads in the township, including: Winter snow and ice control Resurfacing roads Repairing potholes Constructing and maintaining drainage, storm sewers, and culverts Right-of-way mowing Shoulder graveling Bridge repair Tree trimming Spring clean-up Road striping Crack sealing Right-of-way permits Dead animal pick up

Provides free smoke alarms, or batteries to replace in existing smoke alarms. Also offers special smoke detectors for the hearing-impaired.

Provides free transportation to medical appointments for Lake County residents. Transportation is provided by volunteers who use their personal vehicles. Most vehicles have space to store walking aids, but do not include wheelchair lifts.

Promotes a variety of social and sports programs for youth, adults, and individuals with disabilities. Facilities include an aquatic center, golf course, ice rink, and a challenge course.

Provides monthly financial aid for township residents in need. Helps pay towards rent, utilities, or medical expenses. Intended for individuals who meet one of the following criteria:

• Cannot work due to medical condition
• Experiencing income or job loss due to circumstances outside of their control. Must be actively seeking employment.
• Have applied for government assistance and are waiting for approval

Provides mental health counseling and psychiatric services. Offers individual, couples, youth, and family therapy.

Offers a healthcare-based violence intervention program for survivors of violent crimes. Provides up to 16 treatment sessions to help survivors heal and overcome the effects of trauma. Comprehensive services include:

• Case management
• Individual and group therapy
• Psychiatry
• Medication management
• Support and advocacy groups
• Safety and self-care guidance

Offers resources and services designed to meet the learning needs of the community. Also provides programs that introduce and encourage reading. Resources include:

• Reference services
• Computer and internet access
• Book delivery
• Notary (by appointment only)
• Voter registration
• Test proctoring

Offers a reduced-cost, lunch-time meal delivery for older adults residing in Barrington. Meals come from Panera Bread and are delivered by volunteers. Available for weekday lunch-time meals only.

Provides assistance with food, utilities, rent, medical expenses, and other immediate needs. Meets the client in their home and conducts a needs assessment. Provides referrals for community resources to support long-term sufficiency. NOTE: Saint Vincent de Paul provides general assistance services throughout Lake County. Individuals who do not meet residency requirements for this location will be referred to their nearest site.
