Offers urgent medical care for minor illnesses and injuries. Does not provide emergency care.

Donation-based boutique operated by Mundelein High School and open to the surrounding community. Offers a food pantry and clothing items free of charge for the community. May visit once per month.

Provides outpatient mental health counseling services. Offers individual, family, group, and youth therapy.

Oversees law enforcement services for the City of North Chicago. Provides 9-1-1 emergency services when there is an immediate threat to life or property. Investigates crimes and arrests crime suspects. Prevents the development of a serious crime.

Promotes a variety of social and sports programs for youth and adults. Facilities include an ice rink, aquatic center, golf course, and miniature golf.

Provides case management and environmental health services to children and pregnant women with elevated blood lead levels. Services include: Child assessments State-required environmental health investigations Public health nurse and environment health referrals Education and prevention of lead poisoning

Provides a playground for residents to participate in various physical activities. Also has a soccer field, baseball field, tennis court, and pickleball courts.

Provides prescription drug and sharps disposal boxes for outdated or unused prescription drugs. The collection boxes are located in the police department lobby. Items acceptable for the prescription disposal box include:

• Prescription medications, including controlled substances
• All over-the counter medications
• Medication samples
• Pet medications
• Vitamins and supplements
• Medicated ointments, lotions, creams and oils
• Liquid medication in leak-proof containers
• Homeopathic remedies

Items not acceptable for deposit in the collection box are:

• Needles/sharps
• Syringes with needles
• Thermometers
• IV bags
• Bloody or infectious waste
• Personal care products
• Empty containers
• Hydrogen Peroxide

Sharps Container available in the lobby for needle disposal. Sharps include:

• Syringes
• Hypodermic Needles
• Needles attached to tubing
• Lancets

To properly dispose of needles, do the following:

• Must use an approved disposal container that fits inside the disposal bin
• DO NOT deposit any loose sharps into the collection bin

Provides resources and support for individuals experiencing hardship. Operates as a network of churches that help individuals meet their needs for the following:

• Clothing
• Household items and furniture
• Life skills education (budgeting, healthy relationships, etc.)

**Does not provide emergency relief or financial assistance**

Provides emergency financial assistance on a case by case basis. Assistance may include utilities, rent, mortgage, medical bills, and transportation.
