Women's Health Services: Provides a wide range of outpatient comprehensive services for women of all ages. Services include counseling, prenatal, and gynecological care. Primary Care Services: Offers a broad spectrum of personal and community services directed at individuals and families of all races, genders and ages who are unable to access the private medical sector. Dental Care Services: Provides primary dental care for children and adults. Services include: dental exams, cleaning, and referrals to Orthodontics.

General Assistance Provides temporary financial support to help township residents pay overdue rent and utilities. Also covers the cost of car repairs if the individual is employed. Aid is provided short-term while resident finds employment or waits for disability decision. Emergency Assistance Offers one-time financial aid to help township residents prevent eviction or utility disconnection.

Offers adults opportunities to improve basic education skills to transition to the workforce. Offers classes in-person and online via Zoom. Services include:

• English as a Second Language (ESL) classes
• Citizenship Preparation Classes
• Adult Basic Education
• GED testing and preparation
• Digital Literacy and Keyboarding Skills
• Career training

Promotes a variety of social and sports programs for youth and adults. Also offers activities such as:

• Low impact exercise classes for seniors
• Youth camps
• Aquatic center

Provides online support services to individuals with a cancer diagnosis, and their caregivers. Services include counseling, support groups, and education. Counseling - Provides free individual and ground support to individuals affected by cancer. Also offers short-term, strengths-based emotional support and may assist in locating community resources. Support groups - Offers telephone and online support groups to connect clients with other cancer patients. Telephone support groups are one-hour sessions scheduled weekly. Online support group takes place using a password-protected message board format (not live chat) and is led by oncology social workers. Groups are held for 15 weeks at a time. Education - Offers free educational workshops on cancer-related topics. Participants can listen in live over the phone or online as a webcast.

Responsible for repairing and maintaining roads in the township, including:

• Street signage
• Winter snow and ice control
• Tree trimming and removal
• Sand bag distribution during emergency flooding
• Litter and dead animal pickup
• Asphalt patching and resurfacing
• Drainage
• Gravel shouldering
• Roadside mowing
• Road striping

Offers reduced fares on public transit to the following groups: Seniors, over the age of 65 People with disabilities, under the age of 65 Veterans with a service-connected disability Medicare card holders Qualified participants will be issued a Reduced Fare Permit to be used on Metra, Pace and CTA transit. Operates throughout the RTA's six-county region (Lake, Cook, DuPage, Kane, McHenry, and Will counties). Note: A Ride Free Program is available to older adults and people with disabilities through the Illinois Department on Aging. To be eligible, individuals must meet age and income requirements. Provides intensive outpatient treatment program (IOP) for adults with substance use disorder. Provides individualized treatment plan and includes the following services: Individual, group, and family therapy Medication-Assisted Treatment Dual diagnosis treatment Motivational interviewing

Hosts annual Thanksgiving Open House for Lake County teen parents ages 15-22. Event includes a hot dinner and Thanksgiving meal basket to take home for all teen parent families who attend. Community members may also attend event, but are not eligible to receive Thanksgiving basket. Must register by November 14, 2025 to attend.

Assists Honduran citizens on legal issues, protection issues, and the documentation process.

• Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) activities

Connects individuals to a network of nurses to ask healthcare related questions. Provides information, advice, and referrals for medical care. Also offers application assistance for insurance and benefit programs.

Offers classes for adults to learn about individual and family health care. Topics include:

• Health conditions and prevention (diabetes, obesity, hypertension etc.)
• Accessing health care
• Health care advocating

Classes offered in both English and Spanish.

Provides up to $350 monthly to help Township residents pay for living expenses. Aid is given to people who are not eligible for any other state or federal assistance programs.

Provides one-time financial assistance for Township residents facing an emergency situation. Provides help for emergencies such as eviction, past-due mortgage/rent, or utility disconnection.

Provides a 24/7 tip line that offers the public a way to anonymously report criminal activity that has been committed or that are being planned. Also offers rewards of up to $1,000 for tips that lead to the arrest and conviction of suspects. Also maintains a website that provides information about wanted suspects and unsolved crimes in the area. The website allows members of the public to submit tips online.

Provides workshops to repay unsecured debt at lower interest and fees. Counselors provides clients with a program suited to their ability to pay and provides an estimate of the time to complete the program. Also offers: Assistance with housing issues Debt Bankruptcy Student loans

Offers free early-learning support for families with children from birth to age five. Focuses on empowering parents to prepare their children for kindergarten. Services include:

• Home visits by a trained Child Development Liaison
• Developmental screenings
• Parent education and training
• Age-appropriate in-home activities
• Referrals to community resources

Offers a community center to support immigrant families in Lake County.
