Individuals may surrender any drugs or paraphernalia without risk of criminal charges. A deputy will immediately coordinate phone screening with the Lake County Health Department. Based on the evaluation, individual will begin outpatient or inpatient treatment. Provides a police escort for any individuals who cannot transport themselves.

Offers free pregnancy testing and pregnancy options counseling. Also offers free pregnancy-related services, including:

• Referrals for prenatal care, maternity homes, and adoption information
• Maternity clothes
• Diapers
• Formula
• Baby clothes (newborn - 2T)
• Books on pregnancy

Offers free classes for adults to improve in reading, writing, math, and conversational English. Offers the following classes: English as a Second Language GED testing and preparation Citizenship Adult Basic Education (reading, writing, and math) Computer literacy Job readiness classes

Provides a free, packaged, Thanksgiving meal for Lake County families in need.

• Families of four people or more receive a large turkey and sides
• Families of 1-3 people receive a whole chicken and bag of holiday food items

Offers a market-style food pantry for individuals in need. Offers fresh produce, meat, dairy items, baked goods, and shelf-stable foods. Personal items and cleaning supplies may also be available.

Serves as a health center with a variety of outpatient services. Provides Pediatric Services, Women's Health Services, Primary Care Services, STI/HIV Program Services and Gender Health Services. Pediatric Health Services: Provides complete care to children from birth to age 18. Services include: developmental assessments, hearing and dental screening as well as basic vision testing, and immunizations, and lead testing. Women's Health Services: Provides a wide range of outpatient comprehensive services for women of all ages. Services include counseling, prenatal, and gynecological care. Primary Care Services: Offers a broad spectrum of personal and community services directed at individuals and families of all races, genders and ages who are unable to access the private medical sector. STI/HIV Services: Provide sexually transmitted infections (STI) and HIV prevention services. Services include: testing, treatment, and free condoms and other safe sex supplies. Dental Care Services: Provides primary dental care for children and adults. Services include: dental exams, cleaning, and referrals to Orthodontics.

Offers trash cleanup campaigns to fulfill community service hours for school or court. Participants choose where they want to clean and the hours they work. Program will track hours served and provide completion letters.

Designated location that provides relief from extreme heat or cold for at-risk citizens. Center does not provide provisions or care, they are for relief from the heat or cold only.

Offers a food pantry for families living in Antioch or Lake Villa. Provides three days worth of food based on family size. Participants can visit the pantry once per week.

Oversees law enforcement services for the City of North Chicago. Provides 9-1-1 emergency services when there is an immediate threat to life or property. Investigates crimes and arrests crime suspects. Prevents the development of a serious crime.
