Provides assistance with food, utilities, rent, medical expenses, and other immediate needs. Meets the client in their home and conducts a needs assessment. Provides referrals for community resources to support long-term sufficiency. NOTE: Saint Vincent de Paul provides general assistance services throughout Lake County. Individuals who do not meet residency requirements for this location will be referred to their nearest site.

Provides A 24/7 confidential helpline for individuals effected by child sexual abuse. Connects individuals to trained crisis counselors who provide help to make a report. Also provides: Prevention tips Identification and reporting tips Training to become an outreach facilitator

Provides 24-hour emergency relief to individuals and families affected by disasters such as house fires, earthquakes, floods, tornados, etc. Educates people in how to prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. Health and Safety Services offer courses in first aid, CPR, child-care, nurse assistant training, babysitting, swimming-life guarding and more on a regular basis. Courses and training are offered at the Chapter facilities or can be arranged at different localities for businesses and groups. Blood Services collects blood donations and supplies safe blood and blood products to local healthcare providers. Also offers various types of volunteering opportunities for adults and youth.

Provides in-home support services to help prepare children under the age of three for preschool. Provides activities and education to ensure the child meets developmental milestones. Also offers monthly group classes for participants and prenatal classes for pregnant mothers.

Provides mental health support for veterans, active duty, first responders, and their families. Serves as a wellness center and provides the following services: Individual and group therapy Crisis intervention Debriefings Annual wellness checks Wellness visits (SAFE-T Act) Family advocacy and support Specialized therapy including EMDR and Biosound

Offers activities and services for older adults in the community, including:

• Recreational opportunities for active older adults
• Counseling and support groups
• Senior Health Insurance (SHIP) counselors
• Lending Closet

Offers tax exemption to property owners who are rebuilding following a natural disaster. A natural disaster can include, but not limited to:

• Fire
• Flood
• Earthquake
• Wind
• Storm
• Extended period of severe inclement weather

Provides immediate medical care to treat both adult and pediatric patients. Treats mild to acute medical concerns. Offers x-ray services, on-site lab, and online appointments.

Offers one-time financial assistance for rent or mortgage for Lake County residents. Clients may receive up to one month of rental assistance, once per year. Does NOT help with the following circumstances:

• Eviction notices
• Security deposits
• Individuals living in subsidized housing, low-income housing, or with a Section-8 voucher

Provides law enforcement and emergency services within the Village of Round Lake. Works with the community to promote safety, reduce crime, and preserve peace.

Offers 24-hour emergency care for acute injuries, life-threatening injuries, or severe illnesses.

Provides court advocacy and crisis intervention for child victims of abuse. Investigates child physical and sexual abuse allegations. Coordinates specialized medical examinations and assistance to local police departments. Also offers referrals to area agencies and/or private therapists for ongoing counseling needs.

Coordinates educational services for students who are experiencing homelessness. Acts as a link between family, shelter, and school to serve the needs of the student.

Provides employment opportunities for at-risk youth in Lake County. Offers a chance to develop workplace skills and gain experience through subsidized employment. Offers both short and long-term programs. Youth will earn minimum wage and receive a paycheck every two weeks.

Provides help completing and submitting applications for immigration issues, such as: Citizenship applications Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Renewal of permanent residency card Temporary Protected Status (TPS) Know Your Rights Information Sessions Also provides full legal representation for complicated immigration cases involving asylum petitions.

Hosts group gatherings for veterans to get together and establish a friendship. Provides free drinks and snacks.

Provides college readiness program to help students get to and graduate from college. Offers homework help, mentoring, and career exploration. Provides help with college applications, scholarship applications, and financial aid applications. Offers ACT and SAT preparation and college visits.

Mobile pantry that distributes free diapers and hygiene products. Offers free diapers, pull-ups, and wipes (if available) to families with children under the age of 4. Limit of two visits per month to receive supplies. Also offers incontinence supplies for seniors and individuals with a disability or special needs.

Provides outpatient mental health services for children, adolescents, and adults. Offers individual and group therapy. Also offers Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) for adults with severe mental health issues. Provides individual and group therapy, and medication management. Treatment is three or six hours per day for four to five weeks.

Provides fire protection, medical aid, rescue, hazardous materials response, and a variety of other services to the public citizens of Zion.
