Provides drug users a fast-track to addiction treatment services. Allows individuals to call or walk-in to Lake County Sheriff's Offices to request help. Individuals may surrender any drugs or paraphernalia without risk of criminal charges. A deputy will immediately coordinate phone screening with the Lake County Health Department. Based on the evaluation, individual will begin outpatient or inpatient treatment. Provides a police escort for any individuals who cannot transport themselves.

Offers tuberculosis (TB) screening and treatment services for individuals, which include: TB Screening Testing Education Prevention Treatment Contact Investigation Follow-up Clearance

Places children who have experienced neglect and/or abuse in a safe home. Other services include:

• Counseling services for children, foster parents, and birth parents

• Referrals for birth parents to get help for issues that prevent them from being with their children

Mobile outreach truck that provides services for people struggling with drug addiction. Services include:

• Safe Use Supplies - distributes naloxone, safe injection, smoking kits, and snorting kits
• Needle Exchange - allows individuals to exchange used needles for sterile ones
• Peer Support - Peer Recovery Specialists always travel as part of the outreach team
• Treatment Navigation - connects individuals with resources for jobs, housing, legal assistance, social service registration, etc. Provides transportation to appointments when available.
• Snacks and personal care items
• Printed resources - informational materials with recovery resources

Provides law enforcement and emergency services within the Village of Kildeer. Works with the community to promote safety, reduce crime, and preserve peace.

Provides free, bilingual wellness services for the community. Aims to support individuals who are uninsured or cannot afford care. Offers the following services: Case management (connects individuals to housing, employment, medical care, etc.) Individual, couple, and family therapy Support groups Health and wellness presentations (in Spanish only) Zumba classes Monthly wellness events and activities

Provides emergency financial assistance to residents who are in need, including:

• Rental and utility assistance
• Employed clients who have transportation issues

Residents can receive assistance up to three times. Each time must be 18 months apart.

• First time applicants qualify for up to $400 of assistance
• Second time applicants qualify for up to $250 of assistance
• Third (and last) time applicants qualify for up to $150 of assistance

Applicants are required to participate in a financial session before receiving funds.

Offers application assistance for seniors and individuals with disabilities for license plate discount. Also helps apply for free public transit card for the Ride Free program with RTA/Metra.

Provides state-mandated and County services relating to animal control and animal protection. Offers such as: Low cost Spay/Neuter Assistance to qualified pet owners; Low-Cost Pet Rabies Vaccinations through Lake County veterinarians (All dogs and cats 4 months and older in Lake County are required to be vaccinated against rabies and registered.); and Microchips. Offers an online search directory to help citizens locate Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) programs.

Provides assistance with food, utilities, rent, medical expenses, and other immediate needs. Meets the client in their home and conducts a needs assessment. Provides referrals for community resources to support long-term sufficiency. NOTE: Saint Vincent de Paul provides general assistance services throughout Lake County. Individuals who do not meet residency requirements for this location will be referred to their nearest site.

Provides free counseling services for survivors of human trafficking or domestic violence. Offers the following:

Offers annual event distributing winter coats for children in need. Also accepts donations of gently used children's winter coats.

Offers monthly financial support for township residents who cannot work due to health or medical condition. Provides support for rent, utilities, medical expenses, and other basic needs.

Provides natural gas service for residential customers in Lake County. Offers options for:

• Setting up natural gas lines and meters in homes
• Transferring service to a new home
• Stopping service if customers decide not to have natural gas in their homes

Offers virtual support group for new Moms. Also offers free childbirth and parenting classes.
