Provides drug users a fast-track to addiction treatment services. Allows individuals to call or walk-in to Lake County Sheriff's Offices to request help. Individuals may surrender any drugs or paraphernalia without risk of criminal charges. A deputy will immediately coordinate phone screening with the Lake County Health Department. Based on the evaluation, individual will begin outpatient or inpatient treatment. Provides a police escort for any individuals who cannot transport themselves.

Promotes a variety of social and recreational programs for youth and adults. Also offers activities such as: Low impact exercise classes for seniors Youth camps Sports activities for people with physical or mental disabilities

Offers health literacy and educational workshops. Topics include cancer, cardiovascular disease, nutrition, osteoporosis, and sexually transmitted infections. Also offers mammograms and screenings for blood sugar, cholesterol, osteoporosis, and blood pressure. Screenings are offered every third week of the month. Other services include:

• Healthcare navigation and interpretation
• Transportation to health screenings

• Public notary assistance

Provides care coordination for children under the age of 21 with special healthcare needs who are enrolled in a contracted Medicaid HealthChoice Illinois plan. Provides assistance with: Developing a care coordination plan Accessing diagnostic tests Finding specialized medical care Insurance assistance (All Kids and Medicaid) Paying for certain medical expenses Communicating with doctors, specialists and schools Preparing for transition Resources & information

Provides free counseling services for survivors of human trafficking or domestic violence. Offers the following:

• Individual counseling
• Support groups for women, parents, and Latinas
• Individual and group counseling for children
• Art Therapy

Two year program where clients can live in an apartment complex. That is staffed to support the individuals. During their stay, clients can also receive case management and independent skills classes. Services including: Budgeting Cooking Cleaning

Offers a monthly paper pantry for Waukegan residents. Offers paper goods that are not readily available in other food pantries, such as:

• Toilet paper
• Laundry detergent
• Soap, shampoo, toothpaste
• Hygiene products
• Cleaning supplies
• Canned food when possible

Receives, investigates, and enforces fair housing laws when discrimination is reported. Also educates members of the public about their rights in housing and how to exercise them. Provides training to landlords, property managers, and realtors. Also advocates for creating more equitable and inclusive communities.

Provides financial assistance for past due utility bills for eligible Lake County residents. NOTE: Assistance is available based on funding. Please call to see if funding is available.

Offers individual and group counseling for survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking. Groups are available in confidential locations in various cities.

Provides assistance with food, utilities, rent, medical expenses, and other immediate needs. Meets the client in their home and conducts a needs assessment. Provides referrals for community resources to support long-term sufficiency. NOTE: Saint Vincent de Paul provides general assistance services throughout Lake County. Individuals who do not meet residency requirements for this location will be referred to their nearest site.

Offers resources and services designed to meet the learning needs of the community. Also provides programs that introduce and encourage reading. Resources include:

• Reference services
• Computer and internet access
• Notary (by appointment only)
• Exam proctoring
• Bookmobile

Provides an opportunity for activity and social engagement for older adults with early-stage memory loss. Allows a brief period of rest for caregivers and family members. Program follows the early-stage Alzheimer's social model and does not provide medical care.
