Services include: developmental assessments, hearing and dental screening as well as basic vision testing, and immunizations, and lead testing. Women's Health Services: Provides a wide range of outpatient comprehensive services for women of all ages. Services include counseling, prenatal, and gynecological care. Primary Care Services: Offers a broad spectrum of personal and community services directed at individuals and families of all races, genders and ages who are unable to access the private medical sector. Dental Care Services: Provides primary dental care for children and adults. Services include: dental exams, cleaning, and referrals to Orthodontics.

Provides financial assistance for eligible residents of Moraine Township. Provides financial assistance for basic living expenses such as rent, utilities, and food.

Provides prescription drug and sharps disposal boxes for outdated or unused prescription drugs. The collection boxes are located at the Lindenhurst Village Hall. Items acceptable for the prescription disposal box include:

• Prescription medications, including controlled substances
• All over-the counter medications
• Medication samples
• Pet medications
• Vitamins and supplements
• Medicated ointments, lotions, creams and oils
• Liquid medication in leak-proof containers
• Homeopathic remedies

Items not acceptable for deposit in the collection box are:

• Needles/sharps
• Syringes with needles
• Thermometers
• IV bags
• Bloody or infectious waste
• Personal care products
• Empty containers
• Hydrogen Peroxide

Sharps Container available in the lobby for needle disposal. Sharps include:

• Syringes
• Hypodermic Needles
• Needles attached to tubing
• Lancets

To properly dispose of needles, do the following:

• Must use an approved disposal container that fits inside the disposal bin
• DO NOT deposit any loose sharps into the collection bin

Offers financial aid to help Township residents prevent loss of home, job, or utilities. Funds are available once every two years and provide help to meet basic needs, including:

• Preventing eviction or past due rent/mortgage
• Preventing utility disconnection
• Work-related expense necessary to getting or keeping a job (for example, uniform or licensing fees)
• Cost of prescription medication

Amount of assistance determined on a case-by-case basis. Program does not disburse cash as all funds will be paid directly to vendors.

Mobile pantry that distributes free diapers and hygiene products. Offers free diapers, pull-ups, and wipes (if available) to families with children under the age of 4. Limit of two visits per month to receive supplies. Also offers incontinence supplies for seniors and individuals with a disability or special needs.

Provides a full range of mental health services to youth and adults. Services include: Individual and group counseling Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (treats anger management, obsessive compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, etc.) LGBTQIA+ Therapy Mental Health Evaluations Referrals for ongoing psychiatric care

Provides a smart phone application for residents to report public works issues. Issues include watermain break, leaking hydrant, water pressure problems, or sewer backups.

Provides 24-hour emergency relief to individuals and families affected by disasters such as house fires, earthquakes, floods, tornados, etc. Educates people in how to prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. Health and Safety Services offer courses in first aid, CPR, child-care, nurse assistant training, babysitting, swimming-life guarding and more on a regular basis. Courses and training are offered at the Chapter facilities or can be arranged at different localities for businesses and groups. Blood Services collects blood donations and supplies safe blood and blood products to local healthcare providers. Also offers various types of volunteering opportunities for adults and youth.

Offers one-time annual financial assistance to low-income residential customers. Clients can receive up to $500 based on the overall account balance on their account. Program is run by the Salvation Army and funded by Nicor.
