Application process

You will also need to download the Pre-Purchase Counseling Intake Packet: https://www.cpahousing.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/Pre-Purchase-Counseling-Intake-Packet-English.pdf | https://www.cpahousing.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Pre-Purchase-Counseling-Packet-Spanish.pdf and submit it at least three days prior to your scheduled appointment.

Provides first-time homebuyer education and HUD approved counseling services. Also offers down payment assistance where clients receive up to 5% of purchase price to help with down payment and closing costs. Affordable homeownership units in Lake Forest and Highland Park are also available for clients. Services include:

  • Understand your credit report
