Coordinated Entry is the standardized process that is the “front door” for connecting people experiencing homelessness to housing, based on a person’s living situation and vulnerability. PADS assesses clients who are experiencing literal homelessness. This assessment records a client's current situation and needs so that they can be connected to a housing program, if eligible, when there is an opening.
