Offers reduced fares on public transit to the following groups:
Seniors, over the age of 65
People with disabilities, under the age of 65
Veterans with a service-connected disability
Medicare card holders
Qualified participants will be issued a Reduced Fare Permit to be used on Metra, Pace and CTA transit. Operates throughout the RTA's six-county region (Lake, Cook, DuPage, Kane, McHenry, and Will counties).
Note: A Ride Free Program is available to older adults and people with disabilities through the Illinois Department on Aging. To be eligible, individuals must meet age and income requirements. Please see "Illinois Department on Aging - Benefit Access Program" for more information.
