Application process
Must contact an approved weatherization contractor for the weatherization application. To locate an approved weatherization contractor visit the website accel.northshoregasdelivery.com/home/pdf/rebates/residential_weatherization_contractors.pdf. Call the program representative to learn more about available rebates.
Documents required:
- A copy of the most recent natural gas utility bill.
- A copy of receipt/invoice showing contractor name, contractor address and phone, purchase and/or install date, product description, manufacturer, model, quantity, purchase price, and invoice total.

Provides rebates on a wide range of energy-saving improvements and conservation practices to residents. Available rebates include:
- $500 for an integrated boiler and hot water heater two-in-one unit
- $350 for a standalone hot water boiler
- 200 for a natural gas furnace
- $150 for a steam boiler
- $150 for a tankless water heater and an indirect water heater
- $25 for a smart thermostat
- $20 for a programmable thermostat
- Air sealing 40 cents per cubic feet per minute (CFM) reduction Capped at $400
- Wall insulation 50 cents per square foot Capped at $400 per project.
- Attic insulation 30 cents per square foot Capped at $500 per project
- Duct sealing $2/CFM reduction Capped at $400
